We submitted this today for a little Fort Collins Natural Area photo contest. I totally forgot I even had this image. Taken with my tiny Fuji P+S.
If only everything were this easy. This was high-tech back when it was new, and I bet it worked perfectly and simply, unlike our current fancy high-tech gadgets that malfunction at will. They don’t build ‘em like they used to.
Pigeons are like weeds. The more adverse the surroundings for native life, the more prolific they become. This pair of pigeons were sitting on a ground nest under a bridge.
We took a quick detour to the Denver Botanic Gardens last week on the way to taking Jess’ mom to the airport. Here are a few shots from my self-imposed “pattern shoot.”
PS: These were all shots on my pocket-size Fuji point-and-shoot. Not too shabby.
