simplicity of plains life.
This is a new series I’ve been working on. Only four images at this point. Perhaps I’ll add more, but these were all shot on the same day, so matching the color and mood will be extremely difficult.

Critique alert from a non-professional (wink) — the silos and the left side of the rundown shed (left side, top and bottom two images) look a bit too dark on my (calibrated) monitor. I lose some of the texture in the darkness.
I feel like I’m looking at movie sets — or one of those rolling screens where the background stays the same but the foreground rolls across on a conveyer belt. …I’m not describing the feeling well, but I like the sense that all of these different objects have appeared (more or less) in exactly the same time and space.
I like these. I think they work well together and would look good together in a grid on the wall. Well done!
Very nice series. I prefer the interest of the color to the B&W.
