Critique alert from a non-professional (wink) — the silos and the left side of the rundown shed (left side, top and bottom two images) look a bit too dark on my (calibrated) monitor. I lose some of the texture in the darkness.
I feel like I’m looking at movie sets — or one of those rolling screens where the background stays the same but the foreground rolls across on a conveyer belt. …I’m not describing the feeling well, but I like the sense that all of these different objects have appeared (more or less) in exactly the same time and space.
I like these. I think they work well together and would look good together in a grid on the wall. Well done!
Very nice series. I prefer the interest of the color to the B&W.
