It’s an eery feeling hearing the emergency weather radio going off about tornado warnings and 2″ hail, and standing outside your front door watching this powerful storm begin to spin rapidly right over you. It was clearly rotating, fast; not just blowing over like a normal storm cloud. A tornado never actually formed, but I believe it was close.
The dark wall cloud in the middle was rotating; behind it to the right of the frame, you can see the wall of hail, wind and rain coming fast.

I was driving home from the vet with Annie yesterday when this weather blew in. What and adventure that was, lemme tell you. I thought we could beat it home, or at least the worst of it. NEVER have I been more wrong. Holy camoley. Colorado clouds don’t mess around. …That light in the top left corner is surreal.

Holy camoley is right. I was out driving in it as well, and I felt like Dorothy on her bike. Okay, perhaps a little dramatic, but those were some might freaky clouds.
