I haven’t shot a whole lot on my new Sony EX1 camera yet. But, I got in a whole bunch of goodies last week to get me going full speed (including a sexy carbon fiber fluid-head tripod).

In meantime, I’ve posted a fun little time lapse I shot two weeks ago while my dad and I were splashing paint down for me to photograph. The paint textures and shapes were destined for a client’s tradeshow and advertising campaign (more to follow later). Time lapse is one of my favorite (albeit homogenous and non-high tech) features on this camera. I see myself using it quite a bit, seeing as how my cinematography skills are very limited right now.

I’ve seen it before, but it’s still hilarious. Funny how the mundane can become so interesting in time lapse.

Thats awesome. I love when the dogs jump in there for some of the action.

Cole supervising IS hilarious, you’re right Court. And I love that moment when Lee leans against the ladder in the foreground. Very fun.
