These two shots pale in comparison to the “fortunate” photographers who were around to witness the destruction of hurricane Katrina firsthand. We didn’t get to see too much damage, besides lots of abandoned homes in the 9th Ward, and random collapsed buildings and flood water marks. The first shot is an abandoned house along the bayou. The second shot is a New Orleans Police Department gymnasium wall that collapsed onto an adjacent cemetery.
