Young Guns 5

The fifth edition of the Art Director’s Club Young Guns award book is out.

This is a collectible limited edition book produced by Moleskine® and the Art Directors Club on the occasion of ADC Young Guns 5, a showcase of 63 exceptional new talents age 30 and under working in visual communications. The ADC Young Guns biennial is international in scope, drawing young professionals working in advertising, design, photography, video, interactive, illustration and other forms of visual communications. The book documents the next wave of talented professionals whose work forecasts exciting new directions in these fields.

I like Moleskine books to begin with. Throw in a special edition packed with some of the best design work of the year… sign me up. If you don’t want to hunt down the book itself, you can scope all of the published work on their website: www.adcglobal.org/yg5/. The book will probably end up on Amazon at some point (they have YG4), but for now, the only place I can find it is on ADC’s Awards Store for $40.

A little bit about ADC Awards:

Winners take their place in the industry’s revered archive of the best work ever produced in advertising, graphic design, photography, illustration and interactive media. The ADC Annual Awards has kept pace with the changing nature of visual communications since its inception in 1920. The Hybrid category transcends traditional uses of media, and Playground was created to give great unproduced advertising work a chance at daylight. Strenuously and scrupulously judged, the not-for-profit ADC Annual Awards is one of the most venerable shows in the world.
